Composer Rusty Banks’ trio, Haunted by Waters, will receive its Midwest premiere on TCCP's January series

On January 28 and 30, Third Chair Chamber Players will perform beautiful music to warm even the coldest midwinter moments! By popular request, cellist Tracy Sands and pianist Sheri Ericksen will perform Claude Debussy’s exquisite Sonata for cello and piano. Tracy will be joined by flutist Becky Van de Bogart for Jet Whistle by Heitor Villa Lobos. Clarinetist Christy Banks will return to Lincoln for the Nebraska premiere of Haunted by Waters, a trio for violin, clarinet and piano by Rusty Banks (one of TCCP’s favorite composers, who also happens to be married to Christy). Graham House, Becky Van de Bogart and Sheri Ericksen will present Katherine Hoover's pastorale-inspired Summer Night for flute, horn and piano; and to complete the evening, harpist Katie Wychulis-Snyder joins Donna Carnes and Tracy Sands for Ibert’s enchanting Trio for harp, violin and cello.

Get ready for another fabulous TCCP FUNdraiser! Were returning to WSI Hall on March 5 for a smorgasbord of incredible food and musical fun. TCCP musician Ed Love draws on his Czech family background and extensive polka band experience to put together some lively music for this event. Gourmet cooks Kasia Bradley and Joan Reist have created a superb menu, and local brewmaster Joe Holmquist (also a TCCP musician) will provide a handcrafted beer for the occasion. You won't want to miss any of the fun! More info to come—watch your mail and email for details.

Concerts on the Creek 2011

This summer will mark the sixth year of Concerts on the Creek, TCCP’s summer concert series in Cambridge, Nebraska. We love venturing out to western Nebraska because the audiences are so wonderful! This year’s Concerts on the Creek are scheduled for June 25 and July 23.

In addition to fabulous music, Concerts on the Creek events feature a light dinner and dessert provided by a local chef. One of our favorite Western Nebraska treasures is renowned chef Dick Barnes of Cambridge. Here’s just one great review of his work: Town Talk Restaurant is a Cambridge tradition.
