Celebrate Halloween with PDQ Bach!

The Nebraska Chamber Players will perform an all PDQ Bach concert Halloween weekend. Two of the hidden gems have never been performed in Lincoln. So mark your calendars and get ready for some fun! Add to the fun by wearing a costume. Costumes encouraged but not required.

On the program will be “Blaues Gras” Cantata featuring Steve Hanson on banjo along with mandolin specialist, Ted Eschliman, and many others for a total of 17 musicians on that piece. This is a big concert and will include Halloween inspired hors d’oeuvres, decor and some shenanigans! There are NCP strings, Baritone Trey Meyer, and Tenor Christian Cardona to add Cantata-esque notes, plus a rendition of Sheep May Safely (or not so much) Graze by NCP flutist Lindsay Bartlett joined by Southwest’s own, Alyssa Wilhelm. Lots of irreverence and fun for all.
