Lindsay Carr Bartlett - flute
Lindsay has an active studio of flutelettes of all abilities ranging from age 8 to 80 (bartlettstudio.org). Outside of her performances with NCP, she’s half of the Lincoln based flute/guitar duo La Dolce Vita and is involved in Lincoln's flute choir (Coro di Flauti). A Virginia native, she studied flute in middle and high school with Dr. Alice Hammel then received her music education degree at James Madison University with flute instruction from Dr. Beth Chandler Cahill. After deciding to pivot away from public school education, Lindsay did a residency in England studying with flutist Trevor Wye before receiving a master’s in flute performance under Dr. John Bailey at UNL. Outside of playing and teaching, Lindsay is a youth well-being coach and nonprofit consultant. To round out her time, she enjoys being outside in her garden, crafting with her two rambunctious daughters, or on the running trails with her dogs.
